FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

I am delighted to be partnering with a market-leading, dynamic business based in mid-Suffolk seeking to recruit a Financial Controller in a newly created role to manage and support business growth.

The role will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, preparing financial reports, managing and developing the finance team and providing strategic financial guidance. Additionally, the role will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to financial planning and risk management.

Key required skills will include:

  • Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Experience in preparing financial reports and providing strategic financial guidance
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data
  • Manage cashflow and working capital to optimise resources
  • Ensure directors receive accurate and timely management information
  • Working with management to assist in establishing and improving effective processes and controls

The successful candidate will be part or fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience of working within a growing business and will possess excellent communication and business partnering skills.
