Description
- Manage the accounting and finance department, ensuring all day-to-day financial operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a small finance team to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead budget planning and financial forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement strategic financial plans to support company growth.
- Produce and present monthly financial reports to stakeholders and provide insightful analysis.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and improve internal processes to better use software and systems.
- Establish and maintain company financial policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the company.
- Run a monthly payroll accurately and efficiently.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A strong background in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership / management role, preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Excellent IT skills with proficiency in accounting software.
