We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our client's team. The role involves a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving and processing incoming stock, fulfilling orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working in a systematic, productive, and fast-paced setting, with a great work ethic and team oriented. The site isn't near public transport links, so being a car driver is essential
Day-to-day of the role:
- Picking and packing orders with accuracy
- Creating shipping labels.
- Marking and labelling stock
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Assisting in unloading trucks and helping with deliveries
- Working both independently and as part of a team
- Handling manual tasks involving bending, stretching, reaching, and lifting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2 years+ previous Warehouse experience
- Good organisational skills
- Attention to detail.
- Reliability and dependability are crucial.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Self-motivated with an upbeat and energised attitude.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English.
- Valid Driving License.
- Forklift licence or experience a benefit - but not essential
- Must be authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
