Digital Marketing Assistant

We are recruiting for one of our leading B2B clients who specialise within construction and engineering providing a wide range of products and services. Our client has been recognised and is celebrated for the high level of customer service they deliver. An outstanding organisation!

We are recruiting for a Digital Marketing Assistant. You will be involved in a range of digital activities and be responsible for all PPC campaigns, creating digital content, handling social media accounts, and reporting on performance. Your role will require the use of analytical tools to optimize strategies, review competitor activities, maintain GDPR and compliance. This is a varied role that requires flexibility and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

You will report into the Marketing Manager. Our client offers progression and development, you must have experience within marketing especially digital applications to apply for this role.

Our client is relocating to Horsforth, you must be able to work from the Horsforth office 5 days a week. You will be part of a friendly and busy team; the client offers career development and continued support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to plan and execute all digital marketing activity, including email campaigns, PPC (Google and Meta), social media, and SEO across the group companies.
  • Lead and manage PPC campaigns to maximize ROAS.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and schedule engaging digital content for company promotions, events, and features, including blogs, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Manage company social media accounts daily, responding to all activity to support customer service goals, maximize engagement, and drive channel growth.
  • Measure and report weekly on campaign performance, including channel activity and website performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize spend and performance.
  • Support monthly and annual planning with robust, insight-based recommendations.
  • Regularly review competitor activity and deliver a competitive advantage through targeting, creative, and channel mix.
  • Use a range of analytical tools (GA/Meta Business Suite) to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Ensure mailing lists and company CRM are reviewed, profiled, and cleansed regularly to maintain a healthy database.
  • Maintain GDPR compliance across all digital acquisition activities.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a digital marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Highly experienced in Wordpress CMS, specifically WooCommerce.
  • Excellent HTML & CSS knowledge.
  • Experience in managing Paid Search campaigns, specifically Google & Facebook Ads.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices to monitor and grow organic search performance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create and interpret performance reports (GA4, Google Ads, Meta Business Suite).
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
