JSS Search are partnered with a fast-growing luxury retail brand to hire an ambitious accounts assistant who would like to progress their career and complete an accountancy qualification.
About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team of a fast-growing and exciting young brand. The role is individually responsible for invoice processing and maintaining the accounts payable ledger and supporting the credit control and Management accountant.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for invoice processing and maintaining the accounts payable ledger
- Responsible for the reconciliation and booking of stock/merchandise invoices
- Preparing the weekly payment run for review by the Management accountant
- First point of contact for supplier queries
- Supplier on-boarding
- Support team with the preparation of the weekly cash flow forecast
- Monthly bank reconciliations for payables
- Ad hoc support with month end processes depending on experience and workload
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of proven Finance experience
- Finance/P2P/O2C Process experience (preferably in Fashion or FMCG)
- Speaks English fluently and ideally a European language.
- University or College degree
- Accounting qualification preferred
- Has Proven PC literacy, strong Excel skills (Oracle NetSuite knowledge is an advantage)
