Background To RoleThe EME Account Director will serve as an executive leader on the dedicated global Compass Central Leadership Team (CLT) that provides governance and oversight for food and support services program for a Fortune Five global organisation. The role will serve as the single point of contact and conduit across country and business leads, growth teams, client and the CLT. The EME region comprises the Europe, Middle East, Ireland, UK.Role SummaryThe Regional Account Director (RAD) for EME will have an executive role on the Compass One at Amazon Central Leadership Team (CLT). The RAD will serve as the key leader and partner to our Fortune five client for strategy, program development, financial management, new business openings, and defining a culture of excellence in the service and experience of the operation. Specifically, this position will work closely with the country teams that oversee all culinary, cafe, hospitality, events, vending, guest service, and soft services operations across multiple client business verticals. The Regional Account Director (RAD) for EME will drive scalable insight, reporting and special initiatives, driving a culture of continuous improvement, excellence in the service and the experience to the clients, Compass stakeholders and country teams alike.The RAD works alongside the CLT and Global Account Director and team to set the standard for all of the regional operations and systems. This position reports into the Global Account Director and will leverage their strong business knowledge, culinary, hospitality, soft services, financial and people management skills to deliver positive results for our clients, customers, and Compass group.Expectations of the candidate

  • Oversees all partner, sector and Compass driven initiatives
  • Manages and mentors toward business goals, ensuring the maturation and training of senior management
  • Monitors and manages all financial responsibilities
  • Ensures all sector and Compass employee guidelines are implemented and adhered to
  • Creates a culture of Food and Workplace Safety
  • Oversees the teams that opens new business and/or revitalises existing operations with new food programs, merchandising, equipment, etc.
  • Communicates with honesty and integrity
  • Ensure teams work within budget while maintaining program standards
  • Meets all timelines for reports
  • Can build and develop high performing teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years management experience supervising senior managers, ideally at a regional level
  • Multi-unit experience in the food, hospitality, catering and/or hotel industry desirable
  • Ability to take complex business issues or initiatives and apply creative problem solving or strategies for timely implementation
  • Ability to effectively communicate, motivate and interact with all levels within the organisation
  • Strong passion for great food and hospitality
  • A proven track record as an innovative and financially responsible manager
  • Experience in concept development a plus
  • A proven track record of leadership
  • Proven industry contacts and relationships that can be leveraged in networking and recruitment of other team members
  • Proven ability to enhance profitability, sustainability and creativity across all channels in alignment with business strategy
  • Proven coaching and teaching skills with peers, individuals, and teams
  • Ability to speak and present effectively in a group setting to Associates, Managers and our partner and represent the Compass One at Amazon
  • Maintain a positive attitude under pressure and motivate team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
