Job Purpose
- Manage a varied client portfolio, closely monitoring deadlines and budgets
- Preparation of accounts
- Preparation of tax returns
- Preparation and reviewing of VAT returns
- Build trusted client relationships, dealing with day-to-day matters effectively
- Mentor junior staff, including workflow management, reviewing work and providing training
- Champion your own development by undertaking further learning opportunities where possible

The Successful Candidate
- ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
- Qualified by experience also considered
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio within practice
- Adept at using relevant accountancy software, including Microsoft Office
- A can-do attitude and proactive approach towards problem-solving
- Highly organised and able to manage own workload effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Professional, self-motivated and able to inspire others
- Strong business acumen
