Join a leading financial services provider in Bristol as a Business Intelligence Engineer, where you will be instrumental in harnessing data for strategic decision-making.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about data and skilled in creating compelling visual narratives. Ideally, you have experience in sectors such as financial services or another regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Modelling: Understand different types of data, their relationships, and desired outcomes.
  • BI Solutions: Ensure BI solutions enhance efficiency and decision-making while optimising operations.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather detailed requirements and foster collaborative idea generation to inform BI initiatives.
  • Process Management: Ensure all BI processes work well, including data refreshes and report generation.
  • Career Development: Receive robust support and development to advance your career in Business Intelligence, including on-the-job training and access to external courses for skill enhancement.

Experience Requirements

  • Technology Agnostic: Adaptable as the firm evolves its information estate and technology stack.
  • Data Visualisation Tools: Experienced with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos 11, or Qlik.
  • Information Visualisation: Proficient in visualising information using suitable chart types for diverse contexts.
  • Cloud Experience: Familiarity with Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaboration Skills: Strong team player with exceptional collaboration skills.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Proven ability to cultivate relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organisation.
