Robert Half is exclusively partnering with a renowned luxury brand in the search of a Finance Analyst. to join their team and report directly into the Finance Director. The successful candidate will have extensive ownership of the full P&L within a retail environment and be able to own the commercial function.

Job Title: Finance Analyst

Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum depending on experience

Working Pattern: Hybrid, Central London

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical Finance Analyst to join our luxury retail business. This role will involve analysing financial data, forecasting future trends, constructing business plans, and making recommendations to aid strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a firm grasp on business financials, possess comprehensive analytical skills, and have a keen eye for details. They will join our finance team, contributing to financial reports preparation, examining budgets, identifying cost-saving possibilities, and presenting financial insights to senior management.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Analysing financial data and identifying trends.
  2. Forecasting future financial trends based on historical data analysis and market trends.
  3. Contributing to budget planning and preparation.
  4. Conducting financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
  5. Working closely with other departments in developing new business strategies.
  6. Preparing and presenting financial reports to management.
  7. Identifying potential areas for cost reductions.
  8. Ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines.

Qualifications Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. Qualified or Finalist status preferred.
  3. Proven experience in a related role. Experience in the retail sector, particularly in the luxury sector, would be an advantage.
  4. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  6. Proficient in MS Office and financial software applications.
