Import Operator
Our client is seeking a proactive Import Operator to join their dynamic team and contribute to our continued success. The ideal candidate will have experience of working within Ocean freight.

Import Operator Requirements:
- Demonstrated success with a minimum of two years of experience handling import operator duties in a small to medium-sized freight forwarder
- Proficiency with CNS and Destin8; experience with Multi-freight forwarding software is preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach
- Excellent English and Mathematics skills
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors, including shipping lines, hauliers, and depots
- Handling internal file creation and invoice generation
- Managing supplier invoices and addressing discrepancies when necessary
- Monitoring vessel arrivals and coordinating collections and deliveries to meet customer deadlines
- Conducting follow-ups post-delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and identify further service opportunities
