Description
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the receipt, storage, dispatch, and delivery of goods.
- Ensure stock control systems are up to date and accurate.
- Manage warehouse staff to ensure high-performance and engagement.
- Establish operational policies and procedures to increase efficiency.
- Manage health and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Prepare annual budget for the logistics department.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance and improvements.
Profile
A successful Warehouse Manager should have:
- Proven experience operating at management level within a logistics distribution and supply chain environment.
- Success implementing continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Handle on site HR queries, and conduct 121s.
- Excellent knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicator (KPIs).
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and databases.
