Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Outskirts of Exeter
Working Hours: 06:30 - 15:30
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our clients team on the outskirts of Exeter. The successful candidate will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and manage stock levels.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and develop warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle any issues or discrepancies that arise in the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory systems.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
