Job description

Aquatix-2u Ltd is a busy online retail company specialising in the sale and distribution of Pond, Aquarium, Pet & Leisure products based in Copdock.

We are seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our office-based team. This will be a fast paced, varied role within a friendly, customer focused team.

Hours of work are 8.30am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday. During peak season (Mar- Sep) there will be an additional weekend day on a rota basis.

Must have own transport to be able to travel to Copdock, Ipswich.

Responsibilities and Duties: -

Respond to incoming phone calls, be able to deal appropriately and efficiently with any phone and email queries, tracking deliveries, taking messages etc.

Processing Refunds and Returns.

Completing basic office administration tasks, including some day to day cleaning

We are looking for someone who: -

Is IT literate and is proficient in using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel. Also, capable working with bespoke customer service and warehouse management systems.

Preferably has at least one year in customer service/ retail sector. Preferably within ecommerce and has some understanding of the challenges of fulfilling orders that are purchased online on various platforms such as eBay and Amazon.

Is able to multi-task, have strong organisation skills and the ability to pay attention to detail are essential.

Can work under pressure and meet target driven deadlines.

Can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to determine the best possible solutions to issues as they arise.

Has excellent verbal communication skills to clearly share and relay information. With a confident telephone manner and the ability to learn quickly.

Is self-motivated, has a desire to succeed and takes pride in their work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.50-£11.44 per hour
