Job Title: Contract Delivery Manager

Duration: 6 Months (initial)

Location: Warwick / Hybrid (1-2 days per week on-site)

Pay Rate: Circa* £400 - £450 per day via Umbrella.

Job Purpose

Within the Customer Connections department, the Contract Delivery Team is responsible for ensuring the compliant delivery of all contractual outputs for the business area in relation to connection of customers to our clients network.

The Contract Delivery Team Manager is accountable for developing and leading a high-performing Contract Delivery Team, dedicated to efficient and compliant delivery of the Business's customer connection contractual outputs, with a focus on continuous improvement, automation and shaping of future processes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the customer connection pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, effective contract management, and service improvement.
  • Develop systems and standard approaches to strengthen commercial positions and align contracts with technical capabilities.
  • Foster integrated relationships with stakeholders, particularly Regional Engineering and Customer Relationship Manager teams, to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, optimising contract processes for a digitised future.
  • Lead initiatives like Connection Reform and adapt commercial strategies to stay ahead of industry changes.
  • Collaborate with the wider Business teams to maintain compliance and manage customer delivery.
  • Ensure CRM usage captures all opportunities and interactions.
  • Build and lead a motivated, customer-focused team, driving value through employee engagement.
  • Ensure timely delivery of connections and meet financial and regulatory targets.

Requirements

Interpersonal, Supervisory or Management

  • Advanced customer and commercial management
  • Advanced contract management
  • Skilled and experienced in developing strategies and applying to large and diverse organisations
  • Advanced stakeholder management collaborating successfully
  • Strong project management with focus on both outcomes and outputs.

Technical or Specialist

  • Ideally experience of managing a customer service team gained within a B2B environment
  • Industry knowledge is a distinct advantage
  • Proficient in the use of systems to deliver complex processes, with a track record of implementing continuous improvement
  • Regulatory and energy industry understanding
  • Track record of using customer feedback to enact change
