An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK's instantly recognisable manufacturers, who is a leading European listed company specialising in the manufacture of products to the steel industry. The site invested over £10 Million last year and as part of their continued development they are looking to recruit into their maintenance team.

The Role
The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer and have welding knowledge, you will also have PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. Ideally experience of gearboxes, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, shafts pulleys & valves. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. Some experience of working with kilns would be beneficial, as would welding experience. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
