£5K annual OT available!
Offer:
up to £37,000 salary + Van (can be EV), Fuel card and benefits package (pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Overtime and sick pay). Client will also pay for additional Certificates / Management training.
We're currently seeking a
Highway Supervisor
to join our client, experts in Highways Maintenance and Construction projects! This position will be covering Worcestershire area.

The
Highway Supervisor
will be supervising the teams daily activities to enhance their productivity. The projects you will be Supervising on: Surface Dressing Preparation Works, including Pot Hole Repairs, Siding Out, Line Removal, Line Reinstatements, Cat's Eye Removal, and Reinstatements.
As the
Highway Supervisor,
you will require good, detailed knowledge of operational issues. You will develop and execute daily tasks, ensuring safety for your team and personnel under your authority, profitable returns and to satisfy customers.
Key Tasks And Accountabilities:
- Responsible for Frontline delivery of: Seasonal Maintenance, Emergency response and Routine Maintenance Works
- To monitor the skills and experience of operatives within the teams and work with Area Manager to plan training and development
- To manage and promote working in a safe environment for all operations; personnel under your authority and others such as the general public, who may be affected by the Company's activities
- Assisting the operational team in producing weekly quality targets, productivity reports and weekly costs and value reports using bespoke software
Highway Supervisor Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License (ESSENTIAL)
- Experience working on UK Highways Maintenance & Construction Projects (ESSENTIAL)
- Team supervision / management experience (ESSENTIAL)
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualified (DESIRABLE)
- NRSWA OR SWQR - Operative OR Supervisor level (DESIRABLE)
