We are seeking a SEND Teacher to start working in a fantastic school! There is a wonderful Special Needs School located in Tilehurst that is very keen to have a SEND Teacher for the start as soon as possible. This is a full time position working 5 days and week and to be successful for this role you must be a qualified teacher (QTS) and have previous SEND teaching experience.
The Role:
- The role is for a full time as a SEND Teacher.
- To mark and assess pupils' work, and to record their development, progress and attainment, both at school and elsewhere, having regard to the requirements of the national curriculum as a SEND Teacher
- Maintain good order, discipline and respect for others among pupils; to promote understanding of the school's rules and values; to safeguard health and safety; and to develop relationships with and between pupils conducive to optimum learning as a SEND Teacher
- Plan and prepare lessons to engage the children with their learning as a SEND Teacher
Requirements:
- You must have Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience teaching SEND children is desirable but not essential
- Be an excellent communicator and have great behaviour management
- Have a 'child workforce only' DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
- Be available to start ASAP!
