An opportunity is available for a Quality Engineer to join a successful manufacturing company located in the Borough of Pendle. The successful candidate will be involved in developing and implementing quality standards and procedures to ensure optimal performance and output.

Description
- Work closely under the direction of the Quality Manager.
- Communicate quality issues with customers and suppliers.
- Prepare First article inspection reports.
- Lead/support RCCA activities and the NCR process dealing with non-conforming products while implementing robust corrective actions.
- Generate, implement, and maintain procedures, processes, work instructions and SOPs.
- Review and manage customer specifications.
- Manage the calibration system.
- Conduct Internal audits to schedule.
- Support customer and regulatory audits.
- Support the reporting of KPIs.
Profile
A successful Quality Engineer should have:
- AS9100 Internal auditor certification.
- Previous experience as Quality engineer in the aerospace industry or similar
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of AS9100 QMS requirements.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices and methods in the industrial / manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in the use of quality inspection and auditing tools.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- IT Literate.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
