Accounts Administrator (12 Month FTC)

As an Accounts Administrator you will be responsible for processing invoices using the internal ERP system and SAGE software, chasing overdue invoices when necessary and undertaking any other role within the accounts department when needed, all while working closely with the Finance Manager.

In return you will receive: 31 days holiday including bank holidays + Christmas shutdown, Healthcare, Free onsite parking, and Company social activities.

100% Office based.

8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday

Duties & Responsibilities of the Accounts & Sales Administrator:

  • Process purchase ledger invoices and customer sales invoices/commercial invoices/credit notes using the ERP system and Sage software.
  • Credit control ensuring debtors are managed in accordance with company financial procedure.
  • Process supplier invoices on the ERP system.
  • Send processed invoices to the Financial Director for payment if not paid by DD.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts monthly to ensure all invoices are paid.
  • Send customer statements monthly.
  • Chase overdue invoices internally, then with customers.
  • Support the Export Manager with processing of sales opportunities.

Requirements for the Accounts & Sales Administrator:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft packages
  • Previous use of accounting packages desirable.
  • Proven accounts administration experience
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to prioritise work.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
