We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic, agile Project Manager to join one of our clients, a leader in the retail/tech space. We are ideally looking for a candidate who is passionate about 3D and VR technology, with experience delivering projects in this world. Alternatively, this would suit someone with experience in delivering app or web builds in an agency environment.
Working at pace in 3-week SPRINT cycles you will be working with dev and data teams to deliver cutting-edge software to some of the UK's biggest retailers. You will need to have strong communication skills and the ability to create and present at the executive level. This role is fully remote, involving 10% travel across the UK (mainly the Southeast), and offers a competitive salary. Our clients are happy to pay market value - they just need someone good!
The Company
Our client is the leader in retail product visualization, looking to grow their team in Europe to help serve their retail clients. With patented 3D planners, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality technologies, they are the leader in Commerce solutions for kitchen, bath, furniture, and outdoor. They are a very secure US-owned company, with a small cohesive team of 8 in the UK, which is expanding due to securing some exciting new clients.
The Role
- Ensure the delivery of 3D Cloud platform solutions and work throughout the project life cycle to validate that solutions are properly scoped, designed, implemented, and tested to meet the client's business needs
- Be accountable for the overall health of client relationships by identifying, defining, forecasting, tracking, and reporting on key account performance metrics
- Receive client objectives and convert them into requirements.
- Create 3-week sprint project plans and lead sprint review to discuss what has been done, how it went and what can be improved
- Communicate requirements clearly and consistently across teams
- Attend daily stand-up meetings with developers and QA, to discuss goals and any roadblocks the team is facing
- Meet with the customer success team to discuss progress, timelines, budgets, and business rules
- Provide demos to clients as needed
- Must be able to work with various team members and deliver feedback in a positive, supportive manner
- Meet regularly with project team members and sponsors to review status and issues
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
- Ensure all required documentation and deliverables for the project are met
You will have....
- Experience in the world of 3D/VR technologies
- Highly experienced in managing digital/technology recommendations, strategies, and solutions for enterprise-level clients
- 5 years of experience selling and/or delivering client-focused solutions based on customer and market needs
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Project Management and SPRINT planning experience (Agile)
- An ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both part of and within cross-functional teams and independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and enjoy client relationships
- Passion for technology and ideally Digital Retail
- Retail and/or Consumer Products Goods vertical knowledge
- French and Spanish language skills are an advantage, but not essential
