Billing and Credit Control Specialist

Reed Accountancy are working exclusively with an international Advertising Technology group based in London SE1. We are looking to recruit a Billing and Credit Control Specialist to support the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable function. This role involves month-end processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines. The successful candidate will report into the Billings and Collections Manager EMEA and collaborate with the wider Accounting function, Sales, Client Success, and Campaign Management teams.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Record and reconcile payment receipts from clients on the accounting software.
  • Raise client invoices in line with contracts on the billing platform.
  • Work with the Billing and Collections Manager to ensure revenue is recognised in line with IFRS 15 and support month-end/quarterly reporting.
  • Build strong relationships both internally and externally to enable efficient query resolution.
  • Ensure invoices and statements are sent to clients promptly to support working capital, which is monitored by management.
  • Chase clients for status updates and payments to maintain a strong cash flow position.
  • Work closely with the Campaign Management and Client Success teams to ensure billings are true and accurate, while meeting month-end deadlines.
  • Support the team in meeting departmental goals, such as reducing provisions and achieving cash flow targets.
  • Assist with audit queries when required.
  • Provide support to the Finance function as needed.
