Role : Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: Manchester City Centre - Hybrid (2 days office, 3 days home)

S alary: £60,000 - £70,000

Our client, a Private Equity backed group that has expanded rapidly both organically and through acquisitions, is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner with the ability to learn and understand the key drivers that influence the business and then to work collaboratively with senior colleagues to optimise financial performance while they prepare for the next stage of growth. Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working closely with Divisional Heads, you'll be at the heart of their financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expertly manage and optimise existing commercial contracts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with operations directors to enhance financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee financial aspects of new business tenders and strategic decision-making processes.
  • Lead business planning activities, including weekly forecasts and annual budgeting.
  • Manage and develop the finance business partner team and FP&A analyst.
  • Ensure accurate month-end closing and insightful management accounts reporting.
  • Support the finance system and process transformation initiatives.
  • Assist in audit activities and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified (CIMA/ACA or equivalent).
  • Experience in high-growth environments.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analysis skills.
  • Commercial acumen with a knack for identifying growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
