Robert Half are pleased to be working with a globally recognised firm who due to a restructure internally are looking for an Assistant Accountant.. You will be working on site at the businesses Dewsbury based office and the role has the potential to be temp to perm.
Duties include:
- Managing bank reconciliations.
- Reconciling our receipts from bank statements and creating the schedule for processing.
- Managing cash book.
- Setting up and executing payments from the bank.
- Reconciling GL accounts.
- Inter-bank Transfers.
- Assisting with month end processes.
- Update and maintain Fixed Asset register.
- Support with annual and ad-hoc audit requests, as required.
- Support with customer receipts and allocation as resource cover when required.
- Supporting in the set up of our new finance structure, systems, and processes.
You will have previous accountancy experience in a varied role and a solid understanding of MS Excel.
Excellent math skills and good financial knowledge preferred. Experience with implementing new systems and processes would be advantageous. Experience in a similar finance role, with a good understanding of finance processes such as double entry.
This Assistant Accountant role is working from the office so it is essential you can travel to Dewsbury.
