Job Title: Delegated Authority Claims Specialist
Duration: 6+ months
Rate/Salary: £400-550 per day inside IR35 (subject to experience)
Location: London/home based (2 days in London office/3 days home working)
The Role:
- Support the Delegated Authority Manager and where directed take ownership with maintaining delegated claims authority relationships from a due diligence perspective across the Wholesale/Global Re/State National Global & Global Specialty divisions including Lloyd's in a professional, timely and fair manner.
- Prepare, manage and track the Delegated Claims Enhanced MI.
- Ensure our delegated claims due diligence practices are in adherence to the appropriate internal claims manuals and processes.
- Ensure that delegated claims bordereaux meets minimum requirements and any bordereaux uploads to systems takes place in a timely manner.
- Work with the central operational audit team to ensure that Coverholders with claims handling and our Delegated Claims Administrators are audited effectively and all reports and recommendations are shared with the team for review/action.
- Day to day management of claims loss funds, working closely and collaboratively with Claims Operations and the wider claims team.
Experience Required:
- Must have a strong Delegated Claims background within Insurance (ideally Lloyd's market), 5+ years
- Must be experienced when improving existing On-boarding, Due Diligence and Contract Renewal processes
- Must be experienced when supporting claims with performance and relationship management, by incorporating data analysis from enhanced MI and insights for the lifecycle of each delegated facility
