About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Corporate Finance Executive to join our clients esteemed Corporate Finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, and strategic advisory mandates. Key Responsibilities

Assisting the Partner, Directors and Senior Managers of the team with the delivery of a range of transactions, from fundraisings and trade sales to private equity deals.

  • Briefing, supervising and reviewing the work of junior members of the team where appropriate, providing constructive feedback and support as necessary.
  • Taking ownership of assigned tasks and completing in accordance with the firm's and the profession's professional and ethical standards and ensure effective completion before Manager or Partner review.
  • Ensuring strong communication of progress and any issues, with relevant team members, on all assignments.
  • Developing trust and good relationships with clients by being proactive in communication and understanding clients' needs.
  • Discussing key concerns and issues with the client, as well as helping to provide solutions. * Be able and willing to network and build relationships.

Duties and deliverables

  • Assisting with pitching and the preparation of proposals.
  • Able to create/ manage high quality written output and reports including information memorandums.
  • Developing financial models with the support of a Manager.
  • Researching, identifying and screening potential acquirers/investors.
  • Coordinating and overseeing data rooms and requests in transactional due diligence operations.
  • Organise and run every assignment in accordance with the firm's and the profession's professional and ethical standards and ensure effective completion before Manager or Partner review

Skills and Experience

  • Degree educated (or equivalent)
  • ACA qualified (or equivalent) Corporate Finance experience in an Accounting Firm or Corporate Finance Boutique
  • Analytical thinker
  • Experience working with Excel models
  • Experience in creating information memorandums
  • Ability to contribute to client meetings and network with intermediaries
  • Ability to work across multiple projects/leads and occasionally handle pressurised situations IT Skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
