We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal to join a well-established legal firm based in Fife. This permanent position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to manage a busy caseload within a supportive team environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Communicate with other legal firms and banks regarding conveyancing transactions.
- Take instructions from clients and maintain a client-focused approach.
- Draft, collate, and dispatch supporting legal and financial documents.
- Handle the financial aspects of transactions.
- Receive and review mortgage instructions from lenders.
- Oversee the entire conveyancing process from initiation to completion.
- Complete the registration of deeds and ensure all legal requirements are met.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Paralegal in Scottish Residential Conveyancing.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise work effectively to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in working with case management systems.
- Skilled in drafting legal documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Accredited Paralegal status is ideal, or currently undertaking paralegal studies.
