Supply Teacher needed for a Reception Class after half-term
A primary school based in South East Leeds, in the Garforth area, is looking for a Supply Teacher to cover a Reception class until the end of the academic year. They are a successful and vibrant school with a well-earned reputation for excellence - this is supported with a "Good" Ofsted grading.
The school is part of a successful Multi Academy Trust, so the role may open up more opportunities in their other schools in the future.
Your new role as Supply Teacher in Reception
Their need for a Supply Teacher has arisen due to an early Maternity Leave. The Supply Teacher role is to start ASAP after May half-term and is expected to run until the summer holidays and then potentially beyond.
You will take on full class teacher responsibility for the Reception Class including planning, resourcing, assessment and report writing.
You will be supported by a fantastic team.
What you'll need to succeed
Qualified Teacher Status - or pending if you are an ECT from 2024 who is available due to completion of your studies
Previous Early Years Teaching experience from either employment or teacher training placement
Commitment to the role and school until the end of July
Two positive teaching references
A DBS on the update service or be happy to have a new DBS put in place
