About the Role:

As an Assistant Credit Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our dynamic finance team, supporting the Credit Manager in assessing credit applications, managing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with our underwriting standards. Your keen understanding of credit processes will help us maintain a robust credit portfolio, balancing growth with risk management.

You will contribute to the smooth running of the department and team, dealing with any issues or queries daily.

About you:

You'll know how to recommend and review a credit limit and any credit risk issues that may impact payment. You will be comfortable generating regular reports on credit performance, ageing receivables and bad debt provision.

You'll know how to assess a balance sheet and analyse accounts. You'll have a keen eye for detail and have the ability to spot red flags, investigate and approve a new account or recommend more information.

Here, you will need excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with other departments within the company.

You'll need to be resilient and be able to think on your feet.
