Sheltered Housing Officer – Housing Association – About The Client:
Castlefield are currently representing a national Housing Association to recruit a Sheltered Housing Officer for one of their schemes in East Lancashire on a part-time (17 hours a week) permanent basis. The pro-rata salary is £14,500 per annum (FTE £29,000) and they offer a generous benefits package including 28 days annual leave, plus bank holiday (pro-rata for part-time) and generous defined contribution pension scheme, amongst other benefits.
Sheltered Housing Officer – Housing Association – About The Role:
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Specialist Housing Scheme building including reporting repairs and ensuring the building remains safe and compliant
- To be on site as you are the first point of contact for customers
- Lead on and manage all aspects of Housing Management
- Take full accountability for the scheme and all elements
- Effective management of voids minimising void loss
Sheltered Housing Officer – Housing Association – What You Need:
- Previous experience in housing management
- Understanding of safeguarding within a social housing context
- Excellent communication skills
- UK valid driving licence and driver
