**About the Role

This is a 'mornings-only' role, commencing from September 2024 until July 2025. You will be responsible for completing small group interventions in Y6 and teaching classes within Y6 where needed. Your primary focus will be to engage pupils in their learning journey and prepare them for their transition to secondary education.

They are seeking a passionate Year 6 Teacher to join their team for a mornings-only role from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday to Friday. Pay starts at £80+ for this role. Experience in Y6, Interventions or SAT's preparation is required.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective and engaging lesson and i for Year 6 students.
  • Provide targeted interventions to support student progress and achievement.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help them succeed.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to update them on student progress and address any concerns.

**Who we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching or supporting teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of all students.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Those with the right to work in the UK
  • With an enhanced DBS on the update service
