Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Derbyshire for an Accountancy Officer to join the team on a temporary basis. The postholder will assist the accountancy function in the production of statutory financial functions and will provide financial advice to managers and staff within the team. They will assist in the processing of financial transactions, including payments and income, ensuring that documents are correctly completed and that coding is accurate. The Accountancy Officer will assist the Group and Principal Accountant in preparing and monitoring budgets for budget holders.
Candidate Criteria
- AAT/Part-Qualified CCAB/CIMA is preferred
- Experience of transactional finance work including payments and income within a large organisation
- Experience of providing sound financial advice or guidance to managers or other team members
- Great communication skills and ability to work professionally and adapt to any team fit.
