Key Responsibilities

  • Experimental Techniques & Methodologies: Execute a variety of laboratory techniques and processes with precision to support research projects, ensuring high-quality data output.
  • Scientific Input: Leverage your scientific knowledge to contribute to project discussions, under the guidance of senior scientists.
  • Methodology Validation: Assist in validating, refining, and troubleshooting new methodologies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain key laboratory equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Training & Support: Provide training and support to peers on routine methodologies and laboratory best practices.
  • Data Communication: Present research data to internal stakeholders through written and oral communication.
  • Accurate Documentation: Keep detailed electronic laboratory notebooks in line with guidelines.
  • Efficiency & Improvement: Collaborate with the laboratory team to enhance efficiency and improve laboratory operations.
  • Scientific Contribution: Contribute to written reports and scientific publications.
  • Compliance: Adhere to quality management practices and health and safety standards.

Background & Experience

  • Educational Background: Degree in Cell Biology or a related scientific discipline.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in cell culturing, cell propagation and cryopreservation, fluorescent/luminescent cell-based assays, and immunoassays.
  • Laboratory Experience: Previous laboratory work experience is essential; research environment experience is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey scientific information clearly and accurately.
