Events Manager

Posted by Pally Talk.

**About Pally Talk

Pally Talk is a fast-growing platform and community for professional assistants around the world. With over 5,000 members and a mission to empower assistants with connections, content, and career opportunities, we're building the go-to network for EAs, PAs, VAs and Chiefs of Staff who want more from their careers.

We're now looking for a dynamic, hands-on Events Manager to help shape and deliver our growing calendar of digital and in-person events—from intimate networking breakfasts and expert panels to branded partnerships and our first flagship summit.

**Role Overview

As our Events Manager, you'll take the lead on planning, producing and executing all Pally Talk events. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who thrives in a start-up environment, has a passion for community, and wants to be part of a business with purpose.

You'll work closely with our founder and wider team to ensure every Pally Talk event is high-impact, high-quality and aligned with our brand.

**Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver a year-round calendar of events (virtual and in-person, UK international)
  • Own the end-to-end logistics, including venues, guest lists, catering, tech setup, and suppliers
  • Liaise with speakers, sponsors and partners to coordinate their involvement
  • Manage budgets, timelines and post-event reporting
  • Ensure each event feels "on brand" and community-first
  • Help with event marketing, invitations, follow-ups and post-event content (with our copy/design support)
  • Identify new ideas, locations and formats that excite and engage our members
  • Work closely with our founder on flagship event strategy (including our first conference-style event)

**You'll Love This Role If You Are...

  • A self-starter with 3+ years' experience managing events (agency, startup or community-led a bonus)
  • Obsessed with the detail, but flexible in your approach
  • A people person who thrives on bringing others together
  • Creative, organised and calm under pressure
  • Excited by start-up life and purpose-driven work
  • Confident working remotely and managing multiple projects independently
  • Experienced with tools like Notion, Eventbrite, Zoom, Canva, etc. (or a quick learner)

**What We Offer

  • Flexible hours and remote-first setup
  • A supportive, empowering culture that values assistants
  • The chance to shape a growing brand with global reach
  • Paid project-based work (with potential to grow into a bigger role as we scale)
  • Free access to all our events a warm, inspiring community
