Job Description:

Holden Knight Healthcare is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a Local Councils for an experienced Multi Agency Partnership (MAP) Social Worker. This role presents a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, engaging with multiple agencies to safeguard and support vulnerable children, young people, and families.

As a MAP Social Worker, you will be integral to facilitating effective multi-agency working between health, education, and social services to ensure the best outcomes for children and families at risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within the Multi Agency Partnership, liaising with professionals from education, health, police, and other services.
  • Conduct assessments to identify safeguarding concerns and take appropriate action.
  • Provide high-quality casework with a focus on early intervention and prevention.
  • Develop and review support plans for children and families, ensuring a coordinated approach.
  • Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings and strategy discussions.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date case records and ensure compliance with local council policies.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration.
  • Proven experience in children's services, particularly in safeguarding and early intervention.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively across different agencies.
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989.
