We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented eCommerce Merchandiser to drive online sales growth and optimise the digital presence for this Kilburn-based builders merchant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of SEO, merchandising, and eCommerce expertise to develop and execute strategies that enhance website traffic, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities of the eCommerce Merchandiser:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive eCommerce strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Optimise website content, product descriptions, and metadata to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
  • Manage product assortment with help of assisted software.
  • Create engaging product displays and promotions to drive customer interest and increase sales.
  • Analyse website performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, and Customer Support to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with eCommerce industry trends and best practices.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation.
  • Knowledge of paid advertising channels (e.g., Google Ads, social media advertising).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
