The Company
Our client is a pioneer in their market, and has established a unique range of products to firmly establish themselves as a brand leader. As a company they are committed to innovation, and strive to constantly evolve and to truly make a difference. To support their additional workload, the Finance Director needs an experienced, qualified interim to assist with streamlining their FP&A reporting.
The Role
Leading all budgeting and planning to ensure financial clarity of commercial business decisions, you will play a key role in forecasting and budgeting using data driven decision making.
With strong modelling and data skills, you will be responsible for extracting meaningful information from the accounting system then using Power BI to investigate/present historical trends with a focus on building out forward looking forecasting and accurate budgets.
Your knowledge of Power BI will assist with producing advanced forecasting models and predictive analytics into financial reports and you will analyse scenarios and make more accurate forecasts based on historical data and trends.
Working closely with non-finance stakeholders throughout the business, your aim will be to finish the assignment leaving the business with clear, concise and robust forecast and budgeting models.
The Candidate
Qualified ACA/ACMA/ACCA, you will have proven experience working in FP&A. A commercial outlook is essential in order to drive continuous improvement and align FP&A reporting to the overall strategic direction of the group. Knowledge of Oracle Netsuite would be a distinct advantage. Advanced Excel modelling skills and in-depth knowledge of Power BI are both essential. A really interesting assignment assisting the FD of this rapidly growing group.
