Full-time, permanent position based in the Black Country, offering up to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
A fantastic opportunity to work for a high-end creative practice as an Operations Manager has just become available! Based in the Black Country, the successful applicant will manage the operations of several teams, ensuring the smooth running of the firm.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Providing overall management for three of the company's teams, including allocation and distribution of jobs, and conducting quarterly one-to-one meetings
- HR duties including managing holidays and sickness, assisting with disciplinaries and conflict, and recruiting for new team members
- Nurturing the learning and development of the teams, including implementing training and support programmes
- Managing and allocating schedules
- Authorising invoices and negotiating with suppliers
- Providing input to projects within the business, and chairing the Operations meeting
- Other duties as required
Prospective applicants must have previous managerial experience within a similar role, ideally within a creative environment. Applicants must have outstanding communication, organisation and leadership skills, and thrive working in a team environment.
