Location: Newport, South Wales (Hybrid - 3 days office-based)
Salary: Up to £45,000
About the Client: Our client is a small, boutique accountancy practice with a well-established, friendly team. They specialize in providing accounting services and tax advice to small businesses and sole traders.
Role: Our client is seeking an experienced accountant (AAT or qualified by experience) to join their team. This full-time position offers flexibility and hybrid working arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Finalising accounts
- Preparing VAT returns
- Managing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Providing tax advice to clients
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of accounting for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Excellent English communication skills
- Local to the Newport area preferred
- No trainees, please
