Robert Half are pleased to be recruiting a Group Reporting Manager on a permanent basis with a high growth business based in Swindon. This is a pivotal role supporting the Finance Director and leadership team, and would suit an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with 5+ years PQE seeking a value add role.

The role

The Group Reporting Manager will be responsible for a range of duties encompassing financial reporting, group consolidations, budgeting and business partnering. This role requires a technically astute individual with previous experience of financial reporting, and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Preparing monthly consolidated group accounts to be presented at board level.
  • Forecasting and budgeting for the group - including partnering with the management team to understand key costs and drivers.
  • Point of contact for the external auditors including query resolution.
  • Financial analysis.
  • Preparing management information packs with commentary.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Continuous improvement of systems and processes.
  • Business partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

Profile

The Group Reporting Manager role would suit someone with 4+ years PQE, preferably with experience of working in a medium to large sized organisation with strong technical accounting knowledge. Key skills/attributes to include:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and business partnering capabilities.
  • Experience of consolidating group accounts and statutory reporting.
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 4+ years PQE.
  • Experience of working in a high growth/PE backed business is an advantage.
  • Intermediate to advanced excel with strong systems knowledge.

  • £65-75k base salary + bonus.
