Our multi-national client based in Reading, seek someone for a 12-month contract to support a large financial reporting team.
About the Job
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Reporting Manager. You will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements and managing audit processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the management of group audit processes, including maintaining audit timelines and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Supporting monthly consolidation processes, including data importation and journal posting.
- Producing Group Consolidated Financial Statements and individual company financial statements
- Managing the Group Leases database and preparing IFRS 16 and IFRS 9 calculations.
- Gathering information for financial reporting and tax purposes, including corporation tax reconciliation.
- Overseeing group management charges in line with transfer pricing policies.
