Electrical Systems Engineer

Paying up to £50p/h Umbrella
ARM has partnered with a large Aerospace client who is looking for an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer who will be responsible for preparing, debugging, and executing complex test sequences on flight spacecraft.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and executing spacecraft system investigations in line with Non-Conformance Review Boards
- Designing and performing electrical and functional tests on a variety of subsystems on test benches and spacecraft.
- Writing and executing electrical integration procedures to electrically verify and connect the equipment during the build.
- Development and debugging of Automatic Test procedures
- Support Spacecraft systems functional and performance tests during environmental tests
- Use Digital Design and Manufacturing Systems to prepare and execute work instructions
- Closeout tests with Post Test Review and Test Report
Experience required:
- A degree in an Electrical Engineering related discipline or relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience of writing test sequences/scripts for execution of spacecraft tests
- Experience in test sequence writing and debugging in a bespoke language (C and Java)
- Competent in the use of various test equipment used for electrical measurements
- Familiar with the Windows and Linux operating systems.
