Job Overview: As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering designs for Data Centres and Mission Critical projects. Collaborate with a team to provide top-notch services to clients, drive business growth, and ensure project success.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on Data Centre and Mission Critical sectors.
  • Attend client meetings and convey project briefs within the team.
  • Develop strategic project concepts in compliance with regulations.
  • Manage project team workload and prioritise tasks.
  • Ensure excellence in project delivery.
  • Lead internal project team meetings.
  • Mentor team members for professional growth.
  • Monitor project finances and resources.
  • Encourage innovation and uphold industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Industry-recognized membership such as CIBSE / IMECHE / ASHRAE / Uptime Institute.
  • Proficiency in Data Centre and Mission Critical projects
  • Proficient in Revit and BIM is desirable for this role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in building services engineering
  • Experience in multidisciplinary environments and leading junior engineers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Understanding of complementary specialisms such as acoustics, fire engineering and computer modelling in the design of buildings.
