Our client, a prestigious company based in the West Midlands, is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities
As Treasury Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Manage and oversee the company's treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and relationships with banks.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimise cash management and investment decisions.
- Monitor and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rates, and credit exposure.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and analysis.
- Lead and develop a small team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Key Requirements
You will have the following experience for this Treasury Manager position:
- Qualified Accountant: ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in treasury management or a similar financial role.
- Strong analytical abilities with expertise in interpreting complex financial data.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial instruments, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of effectively managing and mentoring a team.
- Degree in accountancy, economics or business etc.
