Location: Grove, Wantage
Hours: 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Pay: £83.50 - £90 (full day) this will be pro-rata to working only 1 hour

What We're Looking For:
We need a warm, caring, and patient 1:1 Lunchtime Assistant to join the Grove primary school as a 1:1 Lunchtime Assistant. You'll be supporting a delightful KS1 student who has special educational needs and sometimes finds lunchtime a bit challenging. Your job is to help them enjoy their lunch break, engage in play, and settle back into the classroom ready for afternoon learning.
What You'll Be Doing:
- 1:1 Support: Providing individual assistance during lunchtime, ensuring the child feels supported and safe.
- Encouraging Fun: Helping the child engage in fun and appropriate play activities.
- Building Confidence: Assisting with social interactions and encouraging positive behavior.
What You'll Bring:
- A Kind Heart: Patience, empathy, and a love for working with children are a must!
- A Sense of Fun: You'll need to be upbeat, positive, and able to bring a smile to the child's face.
- Reliability: We're counting on you to be there every day - rain or shine!
- Experience with SEN (preferred but not essential): If you've supported children with special needs before, that's a plus, but we'll provide training and support to help you succeed.
