Credit Controller
- Hourly Rate: £11.44 - £11.75

- Job Type: Temporary (6 weeks, with potential extension), Full-time
We are currently seeking a Credit Controller for a temporary position based in CF15. This role is office-based and involves working with a team of two other credit controllers. The position is initially for 6 weeks but has the potential to be extended. The successful candidate will be using Oracle and will be covering for sickness.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Managing and collecting debts from company debtors.
- Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers' credit rankings with banks.
- Setting up the terms and conditions of the receivable and payable balances.
- Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time.
- Ensuring transactions are completed correctly and entering data into Oracle.
- Working closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.
- Supporting the team during busy periods with other finance-related tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Credit Controller is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using Oracle or similar financial software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
