About The Role
At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces. You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins and cleaning washrooms.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 16:00 to 20:00, 20 hours per week, on a permanent, part-time basis.

Duties:

Make sure that areas are always cleaned to the highest standards

Always work safely

Make sure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and stored correctly

Dusting Low & High, vacuuming & washing down all areas
Cleaning of any glass partitions
Spot cleaning upholstery, curtains and carpets
Cleaning of offices
Cleaning of toilets, bathrooms, shower rooms and basins
Replenishment of all soaps, hand towels and toilet paper
Emptying and cleaning of waste bins
Cleaning of clinical areas
Cleaning of therapy rooms
Cleaning of corridors
Cleaning of bedrooms (where applicable)
Removal and re-hanging of curtains allowing trust staff to launder

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Good attention to detail
  • To be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work
  • Cleaning experience within a healthcare environment desired but not essential as full training will be provided
  • The ability to be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Ensure personal appearance and presentation including uniform is maintained at a high standard at all times

High standards of personal hygiene are expected and required at all times

  • Drivers License
