My exclusively, retained manufacturing and distribution client are are a third-generation, family-owned business seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their growing business. With ambitious growth plans to quadruple the turnover by 2030 they are implementing a new senior management team across the business, with the Finance function playing a crucial role in driving their future success.
Role Overview: As Financial Controller, you will be the final piece of the puzzle in our senior management team, overseeing all aspects of finance operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead a team of two transactional level accounts staff with the chance to make the team your own and grow the team with the business. You will also work closely Business Partnering with the other 3 Senior management team across sales, marketing and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Complete the board pack and provide insightful analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Manage VAT compliance and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate the audit process.
- Streamline finance processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain and optimise the Sage Line 50 system to support finance operations.
