Trainee Accountant
Salary: £17,329 - £22,500 (dependant on age)
Location: Hove
Hours: Mon- Fri 8.45 - 17.30 office based (apart from days for further study)
Do you want to work for a well-established accountancy practice that offers the opportunity to achieve your AAT qualifications whilst being able to work as part of an accounts team assisting on client accounting and tax compliance tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting in accountancy and administrative tasks assisting Senior and Managers.
- Completing basic tax computations and returns.
- Assisting in preparing small company, partnership or sole trader accounts file with a high degree of accuracy.
- Using different accountancy software packages, Xero, Quickbooks, Sage etc.
- Escalating any anomalies, issues or findings.
- Developing your technical knowledge gained from studies and on the job experience.
- Working as part of a team and maintaining professional relationships.
To apply to this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- GCSE's Maths and English grades A or B.
- A-levels of grade B or above in three subjects, Accounting A-Level is desirable.
- Dedication to achieving an AAT qualification.
- Great communication and organisation skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and manage your own workload and meet strict deadlines.
- Good IT skills inclusive of Word & Excel.
