Job Title: Commercial Manager
Location: Henham, Bishops Stortford
Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 (depending on experience)
Summary of Position:
Our client, an independent family-run business of botanical experts, specialising in the design, supply and installation of office plants and corporate flowers nationwide, is looking for a Commercial Manager to join their growing team. The Commercial Manager will work alongside other functional leaders to ensure the client's operations department exceeds customer expectations, KPIs and gross profit.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan and oversee all activities in service including the financial performance.
- Strategic development and line management of Contracts Managers, National Contracts Manager and Customer Experience Manager.
- Support the service team to resolve escalated client issues/complaints to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Weekly field visits to client sites and gauge Field Service Team's good feel factor.
- Delivery of service team gross profit by region and KPIs.
- Responsible for NPS and driving continuous improvements in service.
- Maximise efficiencies and forward plan including any new technology, or ways of working which would further improve service.
- Dynamic headcount resource planning.
Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:
- Experience in delivering financial budgets including achieving target GP.
- Experience working cross-functionally (within operations and beyond).
- Excellent line management skills (including coaching and mentoring), managing a department with multiple teams working remotely.
- Experience in making fast commercial decisions and resolving client issues.
- Experience managing an NPS program to drive results (desirable).
- Commercial acumen.
- Data analysis and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-growing business, with the ability to identify upcoming changes and opportunities.
- Excellent IT Skills, including MS Office and NPS Technology.
