We are seeking dynamic and passionate History Teachers to join various secondary schools in South East London this September. Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan and deliver compelling History lessons to students of varying backgrounds and abilities, ensuring high levels of engagement and effective learning.
- Create lesson plans that comply with the national curriculum and cater to a range of learning needs.
- Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to aid their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives that enrich the educational experience.
- Participate in meetings with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and strategies for support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching History at the secondary level.
- A thorough understanding of History and current curriculum.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Advocacy for inclusive and differentiated instruction to meet all students' needs.
